ERIN MOORE
Erin began practicing Hot Yoga in 2001, with the intention to lose weight and stay fit outside of her full- time job as an Occupational Therapist. However, she quickly began to realize that this whole "Yoga thing" went far beyond just the physical form of practice as her entire world began to change from the inside out. In 2005, Erin completed her 200 Hour Teacher Training program with Jimmy Barkan in Fort Lauderdale Florida. In addition, she has attended 2 separate, week long intensives in Costa Rica in which she received additional Level 2/3 training certifications. Erin continues to grow and expand on a personal level as well as in her knowledge of Yoga by attending a variety of workshops, seminars, and classes with different teachers and styles of Yoga. Erin feels that when we open our minds to different styles, forms and philosophies in Yoga and in the world around us, we find universal peace, understanding, compassion and humility. Says Erin: "We all have something to offer to the world and to each other. We take from each person that which we connect with and leave the rest behind. The day we decide we have nothing left to learn is the day we stop truly living."

Lori has been practicing yoga for 5 years, beginning when she was pregnant with her second child, Ella. Lori moved to Chatham, NJ in 2007 from Cincinnati, OH where she worked as a high school guidance counselor with a Master's in Counseling. As Lori prepared for her move to NJ, a wife and mother of two, her yoga practice became non-existent for a period of time. After a difficult and challenging move to NJ, Lori yearned to return to a meaningful yoga practice. On a jog down Main st in Chatham one afternoon, Lori caught a quick glance of a small sign reading Hot Yoga at J.D. Fitness. Lori inquired that day and since then has been practicing a variety of yoga styles 4-5 times a week at JD as well as other studios in the NYC and NJ area. Lori's return to a consistent yoga practice helped her to regain her inner strength and passion for life! Lori recently completed Teacher Training at Lotus Yoga in Montclair with Jennifer Kohl and holds certifications in Vinyasa, Kids and Pre-natal Yoga. JEFF SCIOS
They say that you come to yoga in this lifetime, as a result of practicing in a past lifetime. Jeff has been interested in the practice of yoga since early childhood. In May of 2005, Jeff became a certfied Jivamukti yoga instructor. Jeff went on to complete the 800-hour advanced teacher teacher training with mentor Yogeswari at the Jivamukti yoga school in NYC. In addition to interesting and challenging asana sequences, Jeffrey infuses his classes with great music (including his own original songs) humor, and uplifting spiritual teachings. "No one can teach yoga, but we can use this practice to help us to bring about the state of yoga; the interconnected, interrelated, and most importantly, interdependent nature of all things."
To Jeffrey, yoga is a lifestyle, not a job. The opportunity toenrich the lives of the many students who attend class is an honor and privilege. Jeffrey truly feels "from the divine teachings, yoga artistry, and love of music and animals: yoga has transformed his life forever." Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bahvantu. MICHAL LICHTMAN, RYT
Dana Richmond
Dana has been practicing Baron Baptiste style yoga for over 5 years and has been a dancer since she was 3 years old. Hot yoga was brought to her attention through dance and through ways that could improve her flexibility and muscular strength. Throughout her four years of college, she was given a scholarship to dance on the Towson University Dance Team. Given the athletic side to the dance team, she has grown to love Baptiste's more athletic side of yoga. She accomplished her 200 hour teacher training through a Baptiste affiliated studio and looks forward to completing more hours by attending Baron Baptiste's teacher trainings and bootcamps. Dana is truely passionate about teaching, and hopes to inspire students as well as teachers to spread the peace and joy of yoga to others. Dana believes you should accept each part of the journey as it comes. Let each stretch of your path be what it needs.
Kelly Hayes
Kelly Hayes has been practicing yoga since 2000, she initially received her 200 hr certification through the Nosara Yoga Institute in Jan. 2009. In May 2010 she went on to become a 300 hr certified Jivamukti yoga teacher. For Kelly, yoga isn't just something you do on a mat in an asana class, but a life journey. Like many, she too is on the path to get closer to discovering her truth and the interconnectedness of all things.
With her lighthearted approach and firm yet gentle guidance, Kelly's classes will not only nurture the progress of your sadhana (practice), but challenge you to go beyond what you thought possible. There is no "I can't", only "Let's see..."
Along with well known vigorous asana sequencing, the Jivamukti method is based on five tenants ahimsa (non-harming), bhakti (devotion), meditation, nadam/music (sound/vibration), and scripture (ancient texts). The ultimate goal is enlightenment, but hopefully in Kelly's class, at the very least, you will leave feeling more uplifted and lighter than when you came in!
Kelly feels humbled to have learned at the lotus feet of all her teachers... past, present, and future.
